Mardi Gras is March 5 this year. If you want to get a jump on the festivities, there will be a bar crawl starting on Saturday, March 2 at 8:00 p.m. For just $15 you’ll get beads, 5 drinks and admission to all venues participating in the crawl. The crawl starts at Roxy’s Pub in West Palm Beach. Stops include Banko Cantina, Doran’s, Grease and The Loft. Come out, enjoy the party, and indulge a little early for Fat Tuesday this year!
The second RAINBOWpalooza, a children’s art and music festival that includes music, arts and crafts, bouncy houses, food, bubbles, and lots more will be at 500 Clematis Street in West Palm Beach on March 9. It’s a celebration for all ages that’s a ton of fun! Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children and free for kids under 3. The fun starts at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9. The Village of Wellington Community Center and Amphitheater is hosting the 4th Annual Wellington Beer & Bourbon Fest on Friday, March 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Admission to this event is free if you just want to enjoy the live music and arts and crafts vendors. Bourbon tastings start at $55, and of course, there will be plenty of bacon and other food to buy!
The 16th Annual Turtlefest, a huge event which focuses on promoting appreciation and conservation of endangered sea turtles, is coming up! This free event will take place on Saturday, March 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach. There will be shopping, music, art, food, and of course, educational presentations and activities emphasizing the importance of water and oceanic life conservation.
